SIMPLE BY DESIGN

How to use Line Sorter

  1. Paste a standalone list with one item on each line.
  2. Choose alphabetical, reverse or natural ordering.
  3. Generate and copy the sorted list; remove duplicates separately if needed.

Put a short list into a predictable order.

Sort one item per line in English alphabetical order, reverse order or natural numeric order. Natural ordering places item 2 before item 10 by comparing digit runs numerically. Duplicates and empty lines remain in the result. Sorting changes the relationship between rows, so avoid using it on tabular data where separate lines are part of the same record or where the original sequence has meaning.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

A little more clarity.

Will sorting also remove repeated lines?

No. Sorting preserves duplicates. Use Duplicate Line Remover if deduplication is part of your workflow.

Is my input sent to a server?

No. This utility processes your input in your browser. URLs you paste are treated as data; the tool does not fetch them. Be careful with clipboard history on shared devices.

KEEP YOUR WORKFLOW MOVING
